August 30th - Pismo Beach and Arroyo Grande 1st Wards

Almost at the two month mark - kinda crazy!  Sounds like his new companion is teaching him a few things :)  This is our last correspondence from Chilliwack as we were all packed and ready to leave for Kingston.

All,

This week has been another crazy start to another transfer! It's been great. Elder Leavitt is the District Leader, and a new one too, so we have been in and out of meetings all week! We had a lot of successes the past couple of days, being able to find three people to teach! One 15 year old girl came randomly to Sacrament Meeting and we gave her a Book of Mormon, a Restoration pamphlet, and got her number! Super awesome, and hopefully we will be teaching her this week!

I am glad to hear that the move is going well. Kinda weird to think that my home is now gone! Haha. But I am really excited for everything that is going to happen in Kingston.

Elder Leavitt is such a clean freak. Holy. He walked into our apartment and changed just about everything. It was crazy. But I'm grateful for it. He's an awesome missionary and we have been getting along just great.

We don't really have a lot of plans for today, but yeah. Just doing some more cleaning and then maybe some sports. I don't think that I need anything. Those packages you've sent already have been just perfect, so thank you so much for that.

It is a little crazy that I have already been out for two months! Time has absolutely flown by, and I am really really enjoying it out here. Of course, every moment isn't sunshine and roses, but overall, I have had a really amazing two months, and it is looking to be even better the next three. Pismo Beach Ward has launched their new Ward Mission Plan, which involves fasting every Sunday for three months straight, and reading the Book of Mormon in three months. We are super excited to see what is going to come from this, and to see the miracles start pouring in.

Sorry that this is a little shorter of an email, not a lot has been happening really this week. A lot of meetings and getting set up for the next five weeks! Personally, I am super excited for General Conference in October. Just through the roof excited!! It's going to be an amazing experience, and I just can't wait.

Hope everything runs smoothly this week in Ontario! Rely on the Lord, and know that we don't get a stronger testimony of anything, or miracles don't really show, until after the "trial of our faith." (Ether 12:6, 18)

Love you all, and thank you so much for all of your prayers and support

Elder Harvey
